along the coast from the Pumicestone Passage below
us 20 minutes away to the secluded beaches in Noosa
National Park just over an hour from here is surfing,
sun, sand and kilometres of fun time. There’s
sailing from Mooloolaba, boating and fishing trips,
kayaking and much more.
PARKS,
RESERVES AND WALKS
Mary
Cairncross Reserve, our nearest and one of the
most popular reserves for an hour’s walk
in this beautiful semi tropical park is the 10
minutes away.
Kondalilla
Falls is a mere 35 minutes away through Montville
with Mapleton Falls and State Forest 45 minutes
away and is ideal as part of a drive including
Mapleton Pub and either Kenilworth or with a
AWD down to Eumundi through the State Forest.
Glass
House Mountains, whose Tibrogargan volcanic plug
is seen from Eyrie Escape has scenic trails around
the mountains and walks with care to the top
Conondales. Both for intrepid bushwalkers and
those looking to immerse themselves in nature,
this magnificent range can be accessed from near
Kenilworth some 50 kilometres through Maleny.

SHOPPING
Maleny
and Montville offer a wide range of local and not
so local shopping delights, and we can show you
some of our purchases from David Linton, and in
Eumundi, Hernitage Furniture(furniture), Bold & Gold
(pottery). For our trips abroad we use Art on Cairncross,
where they have magic masks and Flaxton Barn.
Eumundi Markets has to be the choice of many of our guests
on Saturdays and Wednesdays along other weekend markets in
Maleny, Caloundra and Caboolture.
SPORTS
There’s
Golfing at Beerwah with the wallabies, challenging
courses 30 minutes away at Pelican Waters and further
afield at Coolum, Nambour and Noosa.
